Who we are
Child Centered Choices (CCC) exists at the intersection of rigor and care.
We provide structured, neutral Discovery Triage services that attorneys and mediators can rely on to bring clarity to complex, emotionally charged cases. Our work is thorough, organized, and dependable—designed to reduce noise, surface what matters, and support fair, informed decision-making for all parties involved.
But CCC was not created in a vacuum.
It was founded by someone who has spent decades deeply invested in the wellbeing of children—not as an abstract ideal, but as a lived, daily responsibility. CCC is rooted in the belief that children thrive when they are allowed to develop in safe, loving, emotionally grounded environments—and that those children grow into more independent, resilient, and functional adults than those raised under chronic stress, instability, and unresolved conflict.
The founder of CCC is both a biological parent and a stepparent of over 20 years. That perspective matters.
Stepparenting is often misunderstood, under-supported, and unfairly stigmatized. It is demanding, emotionally complex, and frequently thankless work—yet it carries enormous responsibility. CCC unapologetically advocates for stepparents, recognizing that there is no shame in the role, only the need for education, support, and normalization. Being a stepparent is not easier than being a biological parent. It is different. And those differences deserve to be understood—not weaponized.
CCC approaches every family system with this lived wisdom in mind.
We are compassionate without being naïve. Neutral without being detached. Warm without sacrificing professionalism. Our work is guided by intelligence, experience, and a deep respect for the people—especially the children—affected by every decision.
Attorneys and mediators trust CCC because we are methodical, ethical, and steady. Families trust CCC because we are human, kind, and grounded in reality.
We do this work because clarity matters. Because children matter.
And because the adults tasked with protecting them deserve better tools, better support, and better outcomes.
